Technical Skills
I’ve been using CAD tools since my B. Tech, starting with AutoCAD and moving on to CATIA, NX, and Creo. Over the years, through projects and practice, I’ve become fairly confident with these tools—not an expert, but I know my way around and enjoy working with them.
CAD & CAM Tools I’m Proficient In:
AutoCAD
CATIA
NX (Unigraphics)
SolidWorks (Basics)
Autodesk Fusion (Basics)
Fema
MasterCAM with CNC Programming
Below are a few examples of my academic CAD assessments and projects where I applied the above tools
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Skills
I began learning CFD during my academic projects, mainly through simulation-based coursework and my MSc research. I’ve worked with tools like STAR-CCM+ and gained a basic understanding of ANSYS for setting up simulations. My focus has been on solving flow problems, conducting mesh-based analysis, and interpreting results in the context of real engineering applications. While I’m still growing in this area, I’m confident with the fundamentals and actively improving through hands-on work.
STAR-CCM+ – Mesh generation, simulation setup, post-processing
ANSYS (Basics) – Pre-processing, boundary condition setup, flow analysis basics
